Derry pride as James McClean reaches 100 international caps for Ireland
All eyes were on Derry man James McClean at the Aviva Stadium last night as President Michael D Higgins presented him with his 100th cap for the Republic of Ireland.
Mayor of Derry City and Strabane district council, Patricia Logue, announces there will likely be a civic reception for Creggan man James McClean. He's now one of fewer than ten players to have ever reached the centurion milestone for the Republic of Ireland. He's the first Derry man to ever played for the side 100 times. Former coaches and local people react as plans for a street party are also announced to celebrate his achievement.
