Kevin Bridges picks his Tracks of My Years
Comedian Kevin Bridges chooses his Tracks of My Years. Plus, there's the mid-morning music quiz Ten to the Top, more from Vernon's Vault and the latest Record and Album of the Week.
Comedian Kevin Bridges reveals the songs that shaped his life in Tracks of My Years.
Kevin’s comedy career began aged just 17 performing around Glasgow’s comedy circuit as well as honing his skills at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He first came to widespread attention on Michael McIntyre's TV Roadshow, and since then he’s appeared on a vast amount of shows including Live at the Apollo , The Graham Norton Show, Have I Got News for You , Would I Lie to You? and Mock the Week.
He’s fronted his own award-winning ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ One series Kevin Bridges: What’s the Story, has four chart topping DVDs and performed multiple stand-up specials including one for former US President Barack Obama.
Kevin's stand-up shows now regularly sell out arenas across the country, and in 2022 'The Overdue Catch-up tour’ saw him presented with the SEC Platinum Artist award after 63 solo performance at the Hydro in Glasgow.
His 2014 autobiography, We Need to Talk About… Kevin Bridges, was a Sunday Times bestseller and he’s just released his first debut novel, The Black Dog, which follows the story of Declan, who dreams of one day becoming a famous writer...whilst fighting a battle with the ever-darkening thoughts in his head.
Kevin's first two choices are by The Verve and Green Day.
Also in today's show there'll also be more audio nuggets from the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Archive in Vernon's Vault and there's the mid-morning music quiz Ten To The Top.
