The number of people renting across England and Wales has more than doubled in the last decade. For many people, particularly those who are young or from a low-income background, homeownership is out of reach. But how healthy is the rental market? With soaring costs, competition for properties and a lack of social housing, renting isn鈥檛 always a straightforward solution.
