Fresh from exhibiting at the 2022 Venice Biennale, Barbadian-Scottish artist Alberta Whittle brings her new major exhibition the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Modern One, which addresses the brutality and harm caused by colonialism, the Transatlantic trade in enslaved people, and the ongoing climate crisis, Anna Welander is on site to find out more.
