Love Songs and Nick Grimshaw

TV presenter, former Radio 1 DJ, author and podcast host Nick Grimshaw chooses his Tracks of My Years plus Radio 2’s new mid-morning music quiz Ten To The Top.

TV presenter, former Radio 1 DJ, now author and podcast host, Nick Grimshaw chooses his Tracks of My Years.

Nick’s broadcasting career started in 2007 hosting daily shows on E4, and quickly moved to the daily breakfast show on Channel 4. He began presenting on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 1 in September 2007, hosting ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Switch with Annie Mac, and then going solo, moving into slots from weekend breakfast to late nights, before taking over from Chris Moyles on the Breakfast show in 2012.

Alongside his radio career, he was a regular guest co-presenter of The One Show, a judge on The X Factor, a couch commentator on Celebrity Gogglebox, and later a competitor on The Great British Bake Off Stand Up To Cancer in 2021.

Since leaving Radio 1 in 2021, Nick’s been writing and podcasting – his debut autobiography Soft Lad was released last October, and he also launched a food podcast called Dish, with chef and restaurateur Angela Hartnett.

The podcast features food, drink, dream dinner-party guests and plenty of chitchat, and guests so far have included Rylan, James May, Martin Kemp, Nadiya Hussain, and Yotam Ottolenghi.

Today's choices come from Sabrina Johnston and Madonna.

Gary's got another edition of Radio 2’s new mid-morning music quiz Ten to the Top, plus there's Tracks of My Years, The Love Song messages and the Record and Album of the Week.
