40 years ago in New Jersey, after several setbacks, the young Jon Bon Jovi was taking his first steps the lead singer in his own band.
120 million record sales later, its safe to say Jon and the rest of the band achieved their wildest dreams and possibly a bit more!
Johnnie marks the anniversary for This Week in Rock and sticking with the New Jersey theme, original Bon Jovi guitarist Dave 'The Snake' Sabo, who ended up making his name with Skid Row, is choosing this week's Rock God. Dave's still with Skid Row - another success story of the late 80s American stadium rock scene. Their road through the 90s and beyond was a little tougher than Bon Jovi's, but Dave's here to tell the tale and Skid Row are back with a new album, The Gang's All Here.
