Burt Bacharach鈥檚 success in the 60s, particularly with Dionne Warwick, was phenomenal, with tracks penned by him including Walk On By, Do You Know the Way to San Jos茅, Anyone Who Had a Heart, Always Something There to Remind Me and The Look of Love. In the UK, Sandie Shaw, Dusty Springfield, Frankie Vaughan and Cilla Black also had success with Burt and lyricist Hal David.

This documentary tells Burt Bacharach鈥檚 life story focusing especially on the complexities of his music, the content and context of his songs and the changing perceptions of them over the years.
