Thursday - Mahler's First Symphony
Penny Gore introduces a performance of Mahler鈥檚 First Symphony, plus medieval music from Ensemble Celadon and works by Sch眉tz, Berwald, Zemlinsky, Gershwin, Clyne and Samuel.
Penny Gore continues her week of Afternoon Concert with a performance of Mahler鈥檚 Symphony No.1 by the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and conductor Ivan Fischer. There are Medieval pieces from Ensemble Celadon and choral music by Sch眉tz and Schein from the Leipzig Cantorey every day this week, and of course regular contributions from the 成人快手 performing groups. Today, there鈥檚 also music by Berwald, Gerswhin, Zemlinsky, Rhian Samuel, George Lloyd and Anna Clyne.
