Kim from Girlschool picks her Rock God!
Girlschool co-founder Kim McAuliffe picks her Rock God, and Rush take centre stage for This Week in Rock.
Girlschool flew the flag for hard-hitting, catchy rock at the end of the 70s and proved gender is just a word when comes to rock 'n' roll. Fast forward a few decades and their message is a relevant as ever.
During their career they built up a solid fanbase, found mainstream chart success and even duetted with Lemmy. Now, the band are releasing a brand new boxset - The School Report 1978-2008. Girlschool co-founder Kim McAuliffe picks her Rock God for this show, and though he's a well known name, her story is predictably rock 'n' roll and thoroughly deserving!
Elsewhere, Rush take centre stage for This Week in Rock, the Midnight Finish returns and the Stones feature on Live and Dangerous.
