A man's been taken to hospital after a shooting in Derry. The police were called to the incident on the Whitehouse Road, shortly after half past nine last night.

And a new campaign group to get the long-scheduled A5 upgrade underway has told how a series of road deaths prompted them to act. Tyrone GAA are the driving force behind the new A5 Enough is Enough Campaign, coming after the funeral of 21-year-old GAA star John Rafferty, who was killed in a crash on the road last October. The group held its first public meeting in Garvaghey last night.
