Music, chat and news of what鈥檚 happening around the country to celebrate the work of Robert Burns.

Burn鈥檚 鈥渘ight鈥 becomes Burn鈥檚 鈥渨eek鈥 as the work of Scotland鈥檚 bard is celebrated around the country with concerts, readings, talks, theatrical performances and the traditional dinner of haggis, neeps and tatties with a 鈥渨ee dram鈥.
Helen Mark visits the rehearsals of a theatre group taking their performance of 鈥淣ot So Serious Burns鈥 on tour. Acknowledging his connections to Ulster and the local fondness for his work, there鈥檚 news from around the country of Burns events planned across the week.
Carla Speer, Jonnie Crawford and Rab Lennox complete this week鈥檚 Kintra and as always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email - kintra@bbc.co.uk.
