West End legend Michael Ball performs live alongside the 成人快手 Concert Orchestra for Radio 2 Piano Room Month 2023, with his three-song set including a special Elvis Presley cover.

First finding fame as a theatre actor, Michael became the leading West End actor of his generation, known for his roles in Phantom Of The Opera and Aspects Of Love. He's also enjoyed a successful recording career, both on his own and with Alfie Boe, and he's presented on and off at Radio 2 for over 15 years.

Radio 2 Piano Room Month sees an abundance of world famous award-winning artists gather to perform exclusively with the 成人快手 Concert Orchestra, and each artist will be performing three tracks - a new song, one of their well-known tracks, and a classic cover version from another artist - with members of the 成人快手 Concert Orchestra accompanying.

Plus iconic soul singer Madeline Bell chooses the Tracks Of My Years all this week. A member of the 60s and 70s pop group Blue Mink, Madeline鈥檚 almost as well known for her time as one of music鈥檚 most in-demand backing singers - Serge Gainsbourg, The Rolling Stones, Donovan and Dusty Springfield have all utilised Madeline鈥檚 talents.

Madeline joins Ken ahead of her special 80th Birthday Concert at London鈥檚 Cadogan Hall on Saturday 18th February, which sees Matthew Jones conducting the English Chamber Orchestra, alongside Madeline, and her friend Kiki Dee in a celebration of her achievements.

Madeline鈥檚 penultimate choices are from Edwin Hawkins and Led Zeppelin.
