A Blue Plaque for ground-breaking Ulster-Scots poet William Starrat, the now record breaking drummer Steven McWhirter and the lights go on in Cookstown!

Helen Mark, Jonnie Crawford, Carla Speer and Rab Lennox share stories they've gathered chatting with the Ulster-Scots community. This week, a report from Willie Hill who attended a Blue Plaque unveiling in Strabane for William Starrat, arguably the first ever Ulster-Scots poet.
Meanwhile Rab chatted with a real hero of his – the now record breaking World Champion drummer Steven McWhirter. Rab also met some young pipers at the turning on of the Christmas lights in Cookstown! And finally - Carla introduces a piece of music with a real personal connection for the return of our ‘Hairt Song’ feature.
