'I was running about thinking my feet might collapse!'
Sean says his high instep led him to fear fallen arches.
"I was lying in my bed last night," Sean says, "and I was thinking about my feet."
"Were they cold?" Thomasina says.
"No, they weren't cold. When I was younger I was told that I had a very high instep, and I was brought up with a fear of fallen arches. I didn't know what they were! I was running about thinking my feet might collapse! My arches were so high you would need McAlpine's Fusiliers to put scaffolding up to get them! They were like two train tunnels."
