Damning report into neurologist Michael Watt
A review of the clinical records of 44 patients who died under the care of former neurologist Michael Watt has found there were 'significant failures in their treatment'.
Disorganised, rude and unhelpful - That is just a taste of what a review found of the clinical practice of former neurologist Michael Watt. He was a consultant at the Belfast Health Trust and a review into his work triggered the biggest recall of patients in 2018. Today, the health watchdog, the RQIA, has published the report of the expert review of the clinical records of 44 deceased patients who had been under his care.
