Trevor Horn shares his 70s memories

Music producer extraordinaire Trevor Horn created some of the most recognisable 'sounds of the 80s. But what was he listening to in the 1970s? Johnnie finds out...

Trevor Horn ended the 70s with Buggles... he was at number one on the UK singles chart in October 1979 with 'Video Killed The Radio Star'. As a producer, he went on to create some of the best known 'sounds of the 80s' with Yes, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and the Pet Shop Boys.

Later, he would work with Seal, Tina Turner, Paul McCartney and Mike Oldfield, to name but a few. Johnnie chats to Trevor about his formative musical years in the 70s and what inspired some of his work later on.

Also on the show, another lucky listener will choose a track for Johnnie's never-ending Jukebox, plus what's your Better Than Original choice? There's more One of A Kind chosen by you, plus your dedications, memories and mentions, all to the soundtrack of the best decade ever.
