The family of an IRA man shot dead by undercover soldiers in Derry 45 years ago speak for the first time about getting to the truth of what happened.
The family of an IRA man who was shot dead by the army in Derry in 1978 say they are deeply concerned by the lack of progress in the case. Patrick Duffy's family solicitor says the identification of soldiers involved in the shooting has also been a problem. A preliminary hearing was held yesterday after a new inquest was ordered by the then Attorney General John Larkin into Mr Duffy's shooting in 2019 who said "there was no objective justification" for his killing.
