Anil Pradhan

Anil Pradhan is one of five poets to share the dual perspective afforded to their life and writing by their links to the Commonwealth.

Anil Pradhan says he is defined by his 鈥渋nbetween-ness鈥. As a gay, Indian, Nepali poet he considers the strange duality - that while English may be linked with the colonial mindset that defined India 鈥 it is also a language that allows him to express his true self. This episode was recorded at the 成人快手 Contains Strong Language Festival in Birmingham.
