"I was talking," Sean says, "to a guy who worked as a message boy for an off-licence when he was young, and he used this bicycle with a basket. This lady in a big house rang up to ask for something to be delivered. So this message boy, off he went, and he's cycling up and down the street looking for the house number. The cardboard box was in his front basket. Inside there a couple of bottles of whisky, or sherry. No cans of beer. So he gets the cardboard box and takes it up to the door."

"The bottom's going to fall out of the box!" Thomasina says.

"Nothing like that, Thomasina! Don't worry the drink is saved! So the lady who ordered the drink opens the door, and looks at him. He's a street urchin, standing there with his box. But the box is advertising one of the whiskies, all emblazoned on the box. And she realises, 'Oh! He's been cycling up and down the street and the neighbours will see me getting alcohol! Heaven forbid!' And she asks him, 'What are you doing here?' and he says, ''You placed this order!' 'Not at all!' she says. 'Take it away! Horrible little boy!' And she chased him away, and then made a complaint about him, and he lost his job."
