Mark Radcliffe presents a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast.

Today, he marks what would have been Isaac Hayes and Joe Strummer’s birthday weekend, playing his favourite tracks from both artists.

Isaac Hayes was a singer, songwriter, producer and creative force behind Stax Records. One half of prolific songwriter duo with David Porter, he was a pioneer for the Southern Soul sound, writing for the likes of Sam & Dave, Carla Thomas and Johnnie Taylor. He would have turned 80 on 20th August. Joe Strummer, who would have turned 70 on the 21st August, was best known as one of the founding members of punk rock outfit The Clash.

With a host of quality radio items including 'The Chain' - our world-famous list of over 8000 interconnected songs.

There’s also the chance to take part in ‘Tea Time Theme Time’, guessing the link between three top tunes.
