Today, electro-pioneer and former Kraftwerk member Karl Bartos joins Mark to share his 'First, Last and Everything' - that鈥檚 the first record he owned, the most recent one he has enjoyed and the record that means 鈥榚verything鈥� to him. He also talks about his new autobiography 鈥楾he Sound of the Machine: My Life in Kraftwerk and Beyond鈥�.

Between 1975 and 1990, Karl was, along with Wolfgang Fl眉r, an electronic percussionist in the electronic-music band Kraftwerk. He left the band in 1990 and went on to form Elektric Music and collaborate with Bernard Sumner, Johnny Marr and Andy McClusky of OMD.
