Two British fighters in Ukraine - who were captured by Russian forces - will appeal death sentences handed down by a proxy court in the rebel-held area of Donetsk.

The government says it's deeply concerned by the death sentences given to two British men, who were captured in the east of Ukraine by Russian forces, while they fought alongside Ukrainian troops. Aiden Aslin and Shaun Pinner and a Moroccan were put on trial in the self-declared Donetsk People's Republic, controlled by pro-Russian separatists.
