Tom Walker - BRIT award-winning singer-songwriter - picks the Tracks of My Years. Ken has your love song dedications plus another round of PopMaster.
Tom Walker - BRIT award-winning singer-songwriter - chooses the Tracks of My Years all week with Ken. Born in Kilsyth, Scotland, Tom first rose to fame after the release of his single 'Leave A Light On' which peaked at number 7 on the UK singles chart in 2018. It impacted numerous international charts and was included in his debut studio album 'What A Time To Be Alive' which achieved platinum status for sales of over 300,000 copies in the UK.
In 2019 Tom won the Best Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards for 'Leave A Light On' which was also nominated for Best British Single. His brand new single 'Serotonin' was released at the end of last month and according to Tom is 'about finding the light in the darkness and appreciating the daily things/people in your life that make you happy'.
As part of 'Royal Carols: Together At Christmas' last December, Tom performed 'For Those Who Can't Be Here' with the Duchess of Cambridge playing piano. He's at present working on his second studio album which will be out in the autumn when he has a tour planned as well.
The next two tracks Tom has chosen come from Foo Fighters and Tom Misch. Ken also has the daily love song, record and album of the week plus another round of PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show, email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk
