Ken Bruce introduces the 66th Eurovision Song Contest live from the PalaOlimpico in Turin. It’s Italy’s turn to host for the third time following their win in Rotterdam last year with the song ‘Zitti e buoni’ by Måneskin.

Ken brings you every country’s live performance from the final of the world’s biggest song contest, which is watched around the globe by an audience of over 180million people. Ken will also be joined by broadcaster, journalist and Eurovision guru Paddy O’Connell to share the latest news from backstage and his predictions for the big winners of the night.

This year Sam Ryder is representing the United Kingdom with the song ‘Space Man’, and Sam was selected from hundreds of names following what's been described as "the most intense and high stakes search in recent Eurovision memory".

Sam started out in the music industry as a singer and guitarist in 2009, working for the groups The Morning After, Blessed By A Broken Heart and Close Your Eyes. He rose to prominence thanks to Tik Tok where, starting with the first lockdown, he started posting his music covers. By the end of that year – thanks to endorsements from the likes of Alicia Keys and Sia - he'd become the most followed artist on the platform.

40 countries are taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022, with Armenia and Montenegro returning after their absences in last year’s final, but there will be no Russia this year because of current events. The contest will take place in Italy for the first time since 1991 and will have the pop star Mika as one of the hosts.
