Live from The Great Escape Festival

Steve is live from Brighton for the new music festival The Great Escape. There's live performances from Mercury-nominated Porridge Radio and Leeds band English Teacher.

Steve is live from Brighton for The Great Escape Festival. Now in its 17th year, the Great Escape is THE festival for new music, showcasing 500 emerging artists from all over the world in over 30 venues across the city.

Broadcasting live from Jubilee Square, Steve is joined for live performances by Mercury-nominated, Brighton-based Porridge Radio and the much-hyped Leeds band English Teacher. Also, Steve hears about who the industry experts are excited about with guests Simon Raymonde from Bella Union, Natasha Cutts from Hoof Management and Pierre Hall from Speedy Wunderground and also chats to Grove before their festival performance. All this alongside a tour of the city's best venues from Brighton's Beach Riot.

Later that evening we鈥檝e booked an night of live and emerging music at the Paganini Ballroom on Ship Street featuring Deadletter, Belfast duo Dark Tropics, Brighton based Alt Pop band Ciel and Brighton鈥檚 barnstorming, infectious Opus Kink. Hear highlights on Steve's show on Monday 16th May.
