Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad chat to the MOBO Award-winning rapper, author and broadcaster Guvna B, about his latest 成人快手 Radio 4 documentary 鈥楻ap Gets Real鈥�. With black men the demographic most likely to suffer from mental illness 鈥� and also the least likely to seek help 鈥� Guvna B assesses the extent to which rap now actively tackles this epidemic.

He tells Kate and Jason about his personal journey, how he sank into depression and subsequently suffered a mental breakdown when his Dad passed away. He reflects on possible causes of his breakdown and on the progress he鈥檚 made through writing so openly and honestly.

We also meet Sharmeen Ziauddin, producer and host of the 鈥楽he Speaks We Hear鈥� podcast - a platform for women, particularly Muslim women, to express themselves.
