Boris Johnson is expected to apologise to MPs later after being fined for breaking lockdown rules. The prime minister is to make his first statement to Parliament since being fined by police for a breach in June 2020. Opposition parties are expected to try and censure the prime minister in the coming days amid claims he lied to MPs.
