Also, Eddie Piller joins to chat about the Mods May Day 2022. Eddie Pillar is a DJ, radio host, writer and founder of Acid Jazz Records, through which he鈥檚 responsible for signing the likes of Galliano, Gregory Isaacs, Mother Earth, Brand New Heavies, Jamiroquai and more. In 1993, Piller opened the groundbreaking nightclub The Blue Note in Hoxton, which kickstarted the careers of Goldie and Talvin Singh amongst others, and by the late 90s Eddie had moved into broadcasting, eventually presenting shows for us here at 6 Music.
