Today they celebrate the 80th birthday of singer, songwriter, producer and founding member of The Velvet Underground John Cale. He was born on 9th March 1942 in Garnant, Wales and became an influential figure across many musical genres 鈥� rock, classical, drone, electronic and avant-guard.
