Anne-Marie - one of Britain's most effervescent pop stars - performs live at Maida Vale for Radio 2's Piano Room Month alongside the 成人快手 Concert Orchestra.
The Essex-born singer's big breakthrough came back in 2016 when she featured on Clean Bandit's 'Rockabye' and having her first top twenty solo single 'Alarm'. Her debut studio album 'Speak Your Mind' was released in 2018 and peaked at number three on the UK Album Chart. She was nominated for four awards at the 2019 Brit Awards and since 2021 has been a coach on The Voice UK. At Christmas she triumphed on Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas Special against other celebrities such as Moira Stuart, Adrian Chiles, Fred Sirieix and Mel Giedroyc.
The former world karate champion joined Ken last September to choose the Tracks of My Years as she released her second studio album 'Therapy' which peaked at number 2 in the UK Album Chart. She hopes to go back on the road again in May starting at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow.
In addition to all the live broadcasts, an hour-long special will be broadcast on Radio 2 each Sunday from 7pm until 8pm featuring highlights from the previous week's performances.
Radio 2 delivered live music to listeners throughout the lockdown with House Music sessions - launched in 2020 - featuring some of the biggest names in music, including Rag N Bone Man, Jessie Ware, Barry Manilow, Melanie C, Cliff Richard, Ronan Keating, Travis, Aloe Blacc and Nell Bryden, with many accompanied remotely by the 成人快手 Concert Orchestra.
