Album of the Week and Andrew Cotter

Andrew Cotter, one of the UK's leading sports broadcasters - as well as being a famous dog fan and now author - chooses the Tracks of My Years.
When Andrew turned his sporting commentaries from the Masters, the Open, Wimbledon and the Six Nations to the lockdown contests between his two Labradors, Olive and Mabel, the result was an internet sensation. The series of videos - including Game of Bones - has been viewed well over 50 million times on social media, and these little films have resonated with dog owners and sports fans everywhere. He's recently published his second book 'Dog Days' after completing a sell-out tour of theatres around the UK, appearing with his beloved dogs - famous as the stars of his online videos viewed by millions around the world
For Olive, Mabel and Andrew, the last year has been like no other. With normal work cancelled or scaled back for so long, it has been a time to take stock and share experiences – both the everyday and the decidedly odd – with Olive and Mabel. Andrew takes a sharply-observed and often hilarious walk through the strangest of days for all of us, reflecting on how precious our time really is, especially the time we have with our dogs.
Andrew grew up in Troon in the west of Scotland, but now lives in Cheshire in a house where he loses the fight for sofa space with his dogs. The next two tracks he has chosen come from Erasure and The Rolling Stones.
Ken also has the daily love song, record and album of the week plus another round of PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk
