Kerry McLean welcomes pupils From across Northern Ireland to Blackstaff House in Belfast as the search begins for ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Northern Ireland School Soloist of the Year 2022.
There are three categories in this year’s competition, with Primary (P5 to P7, inclusive), Junior Secondary (Year 8 to 11, inclusive) and Senior Secondary (Year 12 to 14, inclusive).
This week we hear singers in the first of three Primary and first of six Senior Secondary heats, with two from each making it through to the semi-finals.
