The Author
Claire Keegan was born and grew up on a farm in Wicklow, Ireland. Her first collection of short stories 鈥楢ntarctica鈥� was awarded the Rooney Prize for Literature. Her second short story collection 鈥榃alk the Blue Fields鈥� won the 2008 Edge Hill Prize for Short Stories. In 2021, the Ireland Francophonie Ambassadors鈥� Literary Award was awarded to the French translation of 鈥楽mall Things Like These鈥�.
