Naomie Harris chats to Zoe about her upcoming film, Swan Song, and Jay Flynn returns with his virtual Quiz.

Naomi Harris tells Zoe all about her upcoming film 'Swan Song'. Set in the near future, it's a powerful, emotional journey told through the eyes of Cameron, a loving husband and father diagnosed with a terminal illness who's presented with an alternative solution by his doctor to shield his family from grief. Mahershala Ali, Glenn Close, Awkwafina and Adam Beach also star.
Naomie Harris is a BAFTA, Golden Globe and Academy Award nominated actor, most recently seen in 'No Time to Die,' reprising the role of Eve Moneypenny, and in 'Venom 2' alongside Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, and Woody Harrelson. Her performance in Barry Jenkins鈥� Academy Award winning film 鈥淢oonlight鈥� earned her Golden Globe, SAG, BAFTA, and Academy Award nominations. She also won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the London Critics Circle Awards. It was in this film that she first worked with Mahershala Ali, who she acts alongside in 'Swan Song'.

Jay Flynn returns with another round of his Virtual Radio Quiz where he tests the team on their general knowledge to see who comes out on top.

I鈥檝e just found out that October was ADHD awareness month.听听I guess I should have been more aware!听听According to statistics ADHD affects approximately 5 percent of the UK population and is often misdiagnosed or not diagnosed until later in life. There are many successful people living and thriving with ADHD, Will Smith, Mel B, and Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles are all examples of this. Some of the common signs of ADHD are anxiety and fatigue, time management issues, mood swings, and negative self-image.

I can relate, because I too have ADHD, and like many people, I found out about it later on in life,. The main way in which it affects me is that my mind jumps around from task to task and thought to thought, making it difficult to relax and even sleep. There are times when I am brimming with energy, and enthusiasm, and other times when I am completely drained. I discovered I had ADHD when I went back听to听uni, which apparently this is really common for women.听I found it hard to focus, to remember to eat, to keep to deadlines, and I had the worst mood swings and bouts of depression and anxiety.听

When I got my diagnosis I felt such relief. When you don鈥檛 have a reason for your wackiness, or when you can鈥檛 explain the reasons why you do things differently, people can be mean, and it can be easy to forget all the good things that come with it.听听Will I Am also has ADHD听听and he said in a interview he tries to focus on the positives like the fact that it helps him develop creative ideas and problem solve. My biggest issue wasn鈥檛 what other people thought or said, it was the things I secretly said to myself. Things like I am not good enough and that it鈥檚 a waste of time to even try. Imam Al-Ghazali was a medieval theologian, and he once said: 鈥淭he tongue is very small and light but it can take you to the greatest heights and it can put you in the lowest depths.鈥� Nowadays, as well as mothering myself with extra time, checklists, and being graceful when I fall, I also try to ensure what I say to myself in secret and aloud is loving and kind.
