The Chief Medical Officer, Sir Michael McBride, warns that more restrictions may need to be introduced in Northern Ireland in January to tackle the omicron variant.
The First and Deputy First Ministers have urged "maximum adherence" from the public in following the Covid rules in the coming days and weeks to mitigate against the need for more severe restrictions. They say everyone should take regular lateral flow tests, particularly if they're planning to mix with other people.
