The Consone Quartet
The Consone Quartet at Snape perform Schubert's Quartettsatz in C minor, D703, Haydn's last complete quartet, in F, Op 77, and Mendelssohn's joyful String Quartet in D, Op 44.
New Generation Artists at Snape: the Consone Quartet plays Schubert, Haydn and Mendelssohn.
The rising period instrument quartet bring fresh insights to some of the cornerstones of the quartet repertory in this concert, given as part of last weekend's New Generation Artists residency at Snape Maltings, near Aldeburgh.
