Kilt expanders for an expanding waist, a poem relating to such delicate matters, and the newest pipe band in Ulster.
Rab鈥檚 kilt (left in for cleaning almost 2 years ago) has 鈥渟hrunk鈥 during the pandemic, there鈥檚 a poem on a similar theme, and we hear about Ulster鈥檚 newest pipe band.
Rab Lennox loves his family tartan and left his kilt in for cleaning - almost two years ago. While he鈥檚 delighted to be reunited with it, all is not as it should be 鈥 much to the amusement of Willie Hill, who鈥檚 gone with him just for the fun of it. There鈥檚 a poem from the late Sadie McAllister (read by her son John) on the subject of expanding waistlines and news too of Ulster鈥檚 newest pipe band 鈥 and they鈥檙e all teenagers.
Join Helen Mark, Rab and Willie for this week鈥檚 Kintra and as always, listeners are welcome to send their comments, feedback, details of an Ulster-Scots event they鈥檇 like to promote, or a good yarn to share 鈥 email the team at kintra@bbc.co.uk.
