Radio 2 is back on the road across the UK with the second of two special shows, presented by Jo Whiley featuring Texas in Glasgow and Manic Street Preachers in concert in Cardiff.
At the beautifully restored St. Luke鈥檚, part of Glasgow鈥檚 vibrant East End, Texas - who started more than 30 years ago in the city - perform many of their 28 chart hits and new songs from their Top 3 album Hi, before a home-town audience and welcome a special guest - who is something of a local hero - to join them for two songs. They are introduced on stage by Radio 2鈥檚 native Glaswegian Ken Bruce.
From Cardiff鈥檚 legendary St David鈥檚 Hall, where some of the band used to busk outside in their early days, Manic Street Preachers perform tracks from their new album, The Ultra Vivid Lament, alongside many of their huge worldwide anthems.
Jo, who recently hosted a Radio 2 Sofa Session on her evening show with the band, will also hear how this is one of the smallest gigs they have played in decades.
