Detectives investigating the killing of the journalist Lyra McKee have arrested four men in Derry. They're being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Detectives investigating the killing of the journalist Lyra McKee have arrested four men in Derry. The men, who're aged between 19 and 33, were detained this morning under the Terrorism Act and have been taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave Police Station. Lyra McKee was shot dead during rioting in Creggan on the 18th April 2019. Detective Superintendent Jason Murphy, who's leading the inquiry, said: 鈥淭hese arrests are the culmination of a detailed two-year investigation into Lyra鈥檚 murder and the events which preceded it."
One man has already been charged with murder and another man has been charged with rioting and associated offences on the night Lyra McKee was killed.
