"Why do people say 'so', so much?"

Sean complains about people overusing the word, "so". And he receives a complaint about talking.

Sean asks why it is that so many people start their sentences with the word, "so".

"If you ask someone a question, the word they use before they answer is 'so'. If I say to you, Janet, what are you and your husband doing at the weekend, you would reply, 'So, if the weather is good we'll go to the beach.' But everything starts with 'so'! When did this happen?"

Janet says it's a Cork thing.

"So," says Sean, trying out a Cork accent with a Welsh twang. He thinks it's not a Cork thing.

Bobby in Belfast rings. "If you would stop talking nonsense, you could play more songs. I love the show, but there is too much talking."

With music from The Beatles, Neil Diamond, Nat King Cole, The Tremeloes, The Shirelles, and more.
