Rex issues a warning and Neil comes to an arrangement

Susan and Neil are grumpy with one another. Susan feels she鈥檚 missing out on George and Keira as all her time is taken up with baby care. She鈥檚 also trying to negotiate Martha鈥檚 next visit to the Aldridges but doesn鈥檛 fancy bumping into unpredictable Alice. Neil tries explain Alice isn鈥檛 in her right mind at the moment, and needs some understanding. But Susan can鈥檛 forget the shock of the brick through the shop window. She wouldn鈥檛 mind some understanding coming her way. Later Neil drops in on Shula, with Martha. He admires Shula鈥檚 listening ear, feeling he should be more patient himself. He suggests arranging some riding lessons for Keira, which Shula thinks is a great idea. She鈥檒l provide the first few free. Neil won鈥檛 hear of it and offers to tidy Shula鈥檚 garden in exchange. Frantic Susan calls, reminding Neil Martha should be at Jennifer鈥檚, and he has to leave.
Lynda鈥檚 up to her ears in fete logistics. Eddie recommends a break in his limo. Lynda asks him to take her to Darrington. Dressed in smart jacket and tie, Eddie bumps into Rex, who smells a rat. Peggy鈥檚 cancelled her regular shopping trip in his cab, and he doesn鈥檛 know why. Later Lynda recounts her adventure to Rex. She鈥檇 enjoyed being able to wave to Evangeline Lowminster from the limo. Rex accuses Eddie of pinching his customers. Lynda brokers a deal between them. If Eddie stays away from Rex鈥檚 regulars, perhaps he can continue with this service to the community? Rex grudgingly acquiesces.
