"No, no no," says Sean. "No man alive can eat two cream eggs. I take my time. I eat it in sections. You nibble the top off it first -"

"Do you get a spoon for the middle of it?" Janet asks.

"What a great idea! I never thought of that! Your husband does that? What an intelligent man!"

Sean also has a way to eat boiled eggs.

"My daughter doesn't like boiling eggs for the children because they get their fingers burnt taking the top off. There is an easy way of doing this, and my minder told me this, Stout Ferguson. Do you know what it is, the secret of taking the top off an egg after you boil it?"

Declan and Janet behind the glass shake their heads.

"It's very simple. Egg out of the boiling water, into the eggcup, over to cold water, a wee blast of cold water cools it down, knife, top off. That's it!"

Janet is laughing. Declan says, "No way!"

"All right then, you tell Stout Ferguson it doesn't work!"
