A Vivid Dream
Sean's vivid dream of driving off a bridge reminds a listener of his own dream.
The Lone Star Cowboy rings with a true story.
"I heard you tell the story of the dream you had when you were driving a bus," he says.
"Yes," Sean says, "that's right. That was a dream I had a couple of weeks ago. I dreamed I went over a bridge."
"I had a dream one time," says the Lone Star Cowboy, "about driving a car down a hill, and she rolled over on me, and I crawled out the side window... and when I hurt my shoulder coming out the window, and when I woke up i couldn't go to work for the pain."
"And it's a true story," Sean says, "or you say it's true. So you dreamt you had a car crash, and hurt your shoulder, and when you woke up, you had a sore shoulder? I'll tell you what's worse, though, when you dream you pee the bed."
With music from The Mavericks, Paul Simon, Pat Boone, The Beatles, Mary Hopkin, Buddy Holly, and more.
