Tyrone writer Emma Heatherington on her new novel "The Promise" and poet Moyra Donaldson explores the complex ties between mothers and daughters in a new collection, "Bone House"

On The Culture Cafe, County Tyrone writer Emma Heatherington on her new novel "The Promise" - late 1990s Northern Ireland as the backdrop to a love story and why she's quoted Nobel Peace Prize winner John Hume.

Also, a new collection "Bone House" from Co. Down poet Moyra Donaldson, which beautifully and brutally explores the complex ties between mothers and daughters.
