Some good news for farms with holiday cottages in Wales, as they can re-open on the 27th March. Only people from Wales will be allowed to go and stay as other parts of the UK won’t have lifted restrictions on overnight stays by then, but its an Easter lifeline for many businesses. Writer and TV presenter Kate Humble has three self catering cottages on her farm in the Wye Valley and told Charlotte Smith it's staggeringly good news.
The Farming Minister, Victoria Prentis, unveils the details of one of the ‘public money for public goods’ schemes being phased in in England as direct subsidy payments are phased out. The Sustainable Farming Initiative will pay farmers for extra things they do to improve the environment, from improving soils to flood prevention. Richard Benwell from Wildlife and Conservation link is concerned that the scheme could reward farmers for 'business as usual', and Tom Bradshaw from the National Farmers' Union says the detail in the plan isn’t detailed enough.
An idea from the Mad Hatters Tea Party - that's one farming group's response to the Prime Minister's plans for a taskforce to be set up to look at reintroducing lynx and wolves to parts of England.
Is a labour shortage in the fields putting workers at risk? We hear why the pressure to pick flowers quickly and cheaply could be encouraging operators to take illegal shortcuts.

Presented by Charlotte Smith and produced by Beatrice Fenton.
