10/3/2021 “I’m like a goat with a gun”
Sean discovers a new phrase, “I’ve got a new phone and I’m like a goat with a gun getting used to it.”
Blathin - I’ve got a new phone and I’m like a goat with a gun getting used to it.
Sean – I never heard that expression before. That’s something we need as well. Our phone rings and rings, you go to lift it, and it’s still ringing, and you’re saying, ‘Hello, hello,’ and it keeps on ringing, and you’re, saying, ‘Shut up ringing,’ talking to the phone, and you’re worried the other person might hear you.
Kevin - “Cats in the Cradle” will help me to paint.
Sean – Not a good painting song, (plays Billy Connolly’s version of “Irish Heartbeat”).
Mary - I feel a bit down today but your music always cheers me up
Pawnie – you cost me £12 last night for a takeaway. Didn’t get a song sung for the wife. Therefore I got no spuds, no dinner. Thanks a lot mucker.
