Joe Wicks, aka The Body Coach, chats to Zoe about the return of his online fitness sessions for children and families he calls 'PE with Joe'. They are a series of 20-minute virtual workouts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9am that Joe will be doing live on his YouTube channel following England's return to a national coronavirus pandemic lockdown, including the closure of all schools. Joe received an MBE last year for the virtual PE lessons he broadcast during the first national lockdown. In April 2020 Joe gained a brand new Guinness World Records title for the most viewers for a fitness workout live stream on YouTube. A record-breaking number of 955,185 households tuned in to P.E with Joe on the 24th March, hosted live on Joe鈥檚 YouTube channel: The Body Coach TV. Last year Joe raised over 拢2million for 成人快手 Children in Need for his 24 Hour PE Challenge.

Pause For Thought

Pause For Thought
From Cole Moreton, a writer and presenter:聽
Back in the Autumn, me and my Mum were about to go somewhere really nice. A posh restaurant, to celebrate her birthday. My Dad and my sister would be there and my niece Becky and her partner. It was going to be lovely. Becky had dreamed up this treat for her Nan and organised everything. She even offered to pay, which was amazing. We were all looking forward to the day. And then, as you鈥檝e probably guessed, the rules changed again. The restaurant wasn鈥檛 allowed to open.聽
We couldn鈥檛 go. Lots of us have been in that situation lately, lots of times. So was that it? Were we left with nothing? No, not quite. What we are left with now is a promise. We will go there, when we can. It will happen. And I have found lately that promises are really important. They keep me going at a time when there doesn鈥檛 seem to be much else to go on. I believe promises help us to have faith. They tell us things will not always be this way. They let us know we are loved, there is someone with us, hoping for a better day. The Jewish and Christian holy books have this promise from Jeremiah, speaking the words of God: 鈥淚 alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.鈥 It鈥檚 comforting, but sometimes I find it really hard to believe.聽
The big stuff feels beyond me. So I choose to start with the small things. I can believe those. My friend Ruth has a little boy who can鈥檛 understand why he has to be at home with her right now. She says: 鈥淥ne day we will go to the mountains that you love.鈥 I say to my grown-up kids: 鈥淥ne day soon you鈥檒l get back to university, or travel the world, or hang out on the beach.鈥 I say to my mate Paul: 鈥淥ne day we will go to the football again.鈥 I say to all my friends: 鈥淥ne day we will hug each other again.鈥 And I say to my Mum, who I know is listening: 鈥淥ne day we will get to that restaurant. I promise. And we will all have such a lovely time.鈥
