The probate service has been experiencing severe delays for more than a year. Probate is the legal process that hands on the assets of people who've died to their heirs. It used to take three weeks to go through the process, but we鈥檒l hear from listeners who鈥檝e waited for months and even a year. The probate service says things are improving - they say the average wait is now six weeks, and four for people who apply online.

Sales of speciality mushrooms are on the rise. With so many of us choosing to reduce our meat consumption, sales some of the more chewy fungi are a great substitute for meat. We visit a mushroom producer in Ormskirk in West Lancashire and hear how we鈥檙e getting more adventurous with our cooking. So, do you know your porcini from your portobello?

2020 saw huge jobs losses, but intriguingly, there was also an increase in the number of new businesses launched. And as we hear, entrepreneurs are not just young risk-loving types. Among those starting their own businesses during the Coronavirus pandemic there's been a rise in older people - many of them women.
