Caitlin Moran will be talking about the film adaptation of How to Build a Girl which streams on July 24 on Amazon Prime and Grant will also be hearing about THE TRAITOR; the veteran Italian master Marco Bellocchio’s crowning mafia epic, based on the true story of the Cosa Nostra mafia family of the 80’s and the massive trial that brought them down.

He will also be hosting our Film Review Hour when we’ll discuss Arkansas – a gritty, satirical comedy thriller about the Dixie Mafia drug trade in the Deep South which features a star-studded cast including Liam Hemsworth, Vince Vaughn and John Malkovich.

Alice –the debut feature film from multiple award-winning writer and director Josephine Mackerras is also under review: Happily married Alice’s (Emilie Piponnier) life is turned upside down when she discovers her husband (Martin Swabey) has spent all their money on sex workers and they are now a year behind on their mortgage. In a last-ditch bid to support herself and her child, Alice becomes a high-end escort, which challenges her perceptions of life and love. At times bitterly funny but always brutally honest, the film traces Alice’s journey to her own kind of freedom.

And a contemporary classic from Academy Award nominated director David Lynch; the Southern Gothic masterpiece about love on the run, Wild at Heart - starring Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern.
