Anna Macleod chats with Priscilla Scott and Adam Dahmer about books of special interest to them.
Priscilla is from Argyll but currently lives in the Borders. She recently completed a course at Edinburgh University and has chosen two diverse books, beginning with Susan Vreeland's Girl in Hyacinth Blue. Her second recommendation is Seton Gordon's Highways and Byways in the West Highlands, a book written in 1935 about an area she knows well.
Adam hails from Kentucky but is now working as a tutor at Edinburgh University. His two books are Ronald Hutton's The Witch and Jim Crumley's The Last Wolf, a book that explores the place of the wolf in Scotland.
At the end of the show, each guest is tasked with choosing which of the four books they would like to take home with them.
